Updating Directory automatically

Using the Zapier service you can configure the update of a Workflowsoft Directory from more than 3000 applications (https://zapier.com/explore) yourself without involving IT-professionals. It’s more than tenfold faster and cheaper than classic integration involving developers, coding, and so on.

In Zapier, configure the activity Update Directory. In the activity settings, when choosing a Workflowsoft account to connect, make sure that you are logged into Workflowsoft as a user who is a Workflowsoft administrator. Next, in the activity settings, select the name of the Workflowsoft Directory which you want to be updated automatically.

Next in the settings of the Update Directory activity you see the names of all columns from the Directory you selected. You can fill in these columns with any information available in Zapier. This information will be saved to the Workflowsoft Directory.

If you do not specify information which should be saved in the column, this column won’t be updated in the Workflowsoft Directory.

The first column in the Workflowsoft Directory is a key. If the first column of a new row and an existing Directory row consist of the same value, then the new row will replace the existing Directory row. If the first column of a new row consists of a value that is not in the existing Directory rows, then the new row will be added to the Directory.

As an example of this kind of integration - you can quickly configure the update of a Workflowsoft Directory from your CRM application so your employees in Workflowsoft will be able to select the names of your customers and their purchase orders.
