Types of task notifications

Notifications are displayed in the Notifications feed, are sent by email, and are visible online in the browser.

Notifications feed

The Notifications feed is opened by clicking the Envelope icon in the top-right corner. You can view all changes or select only those of interest from more than 20 types of notifications about various changes. To do so, click the Envelope icon and select Change filter. If you do not want to receive a particular type of notifications, clear the checkbox. Conversely, select the checkbox for notifications that you do want to receive.

When you open an “unread” notification, it becomes “read”. You can “read” all notifications by single-clicking the button in the shape of a small envelope in the top-left corner of the Notifications window. You can also delete unnecessary notifications one at a time or all at once by single-clicking the button in the shape of a small basket in the top-left corner of the Notifications window.

Email notifications

In the Settings menu (in the top-right corner of your profile) in the Email notifications section, you can configure which notifications to receive by email. Moreover, in the Other settings section, you can set a suitable time for morning notifications.

Email notifications are not sent for all events so as not to overfill the mailbox. Therefore, we recommend using the Notifications feed (see above).

Online notifications in the browser

You can view these notifications while browsing other websites; there is no need to log into WorkFlowSoft. If your browser is open and, say, someone assigns a task to you, you will see a notification about the new task. Online notifications are available in the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
